Pick Your Own Flowers at Beech House Farm

One thousand dahlia plants and a patch full of colour, in beautiful rural surroundings just outside Wolverhampton.

📅 Open every Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
Free entry, free parking, no booking needed.

Beech House Blooms

Our flower patch is planted with one thousand dahlia plants alongside a wide variety of other beautiful seasonal flowers. You are invited to wander the rows at your own pace, take your time and cut the blooms you like best.

There is no entry fee, no parking charge and no need to book. You simply pay for the flowers you pick.

It is a relaxed, welcoming afternoon in beautiful rural surroundings. Meet a friend for a coffee and a piece of cake, mooch amongst the flowers and take a bunch home.

How it works

  1. Arrive and park. Entry and parking are free and there is no need to book ahead.

  2. Pick up a pair of snips. Bring your own if you have them, or borrow ours.

  3. Wander the patch and cut whatever catches your eye.

  4. Bring your blooms back to be wrapped and pay for what you have picked. Cash and card both welcome.

What to bring

  • A container with water in it. Your flowers will last considerably longer if they go straight into water for the journey home.

  • Your own snips, if you have a pair. We have snips available to borrow if you do not.

  • Sensible shoes. It is a working farm and the ground can be uneven.

The Beech House Farm kitchen

The farm kitchen is open while the patch is, serving hot and cold sandwiches, sausage rolls, baked potatoes and cakes, alongside hot drinks, iced coffees, milkshakes, pop and water.

There is also a lovely selection of Bennett's farm ice creams, including doggy ice creams for the four legged members of the party.

Evening flower workshops

Join us in the flower patch after hours, under the creative direction of local florist Helen Raymond Clarke. Pick your own blooms, then learn to turn them into a beautiful hand tied bouquet to take home.

A glass of wine and a cheese board are included.
